Recently, the second 7,500 Unit LNG PCTC (Pure Car Truck Carrier) with Ro-Ro access equipment supplied by CSSC Huahai for Japanese Shipowner SANTOKU named “GUANG WU KOU” (Hull No:XSI463L), was successfully delivered at Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry Co.,Ltd (XSI).
Concurrently, CSSC Huahai was honored with the title of “Excellent Supplier” by XSI.
The “GUANG WU KOU”, a globally leading clean energy vessel, marks the 35th PCTC vessel delivered by XSI. The ship features 13 vehicle decks comprising 9 fixed decks and 4 movable decks, capable of flexibly carrying up to 7,500 vehicles, including passenger cars, trucks, and construction machinery. The dual breakthroughs in loading/unloading efficiency and environmental performance are closely tied to the fully electric Ro-Ro access system customized by CSSC Huahai. This system, which includes a quarter ramp, side ramp and side doors, internal movable ramps, ramp covers, ramp doors and hoistable car decks, not only achieves digital control over the loading/unloading process through fully electric operation but also aligns with the green positioning of LNG vessels with its low-energy consumption design, embodying a vivid practice of “intelligent leadership in the deep blue.”
