CSSC Huahai Supports Two High-End PCTC Ships to be Timely Delivered on Same Day

On May 15, two domestically-built PCTC vessels marked their maiden voyages:

The LNG dual-fuel 7,000 CEU PCTC MV “Yuanhaikou”, jointly constructed by Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) and CSTC under CSSC-Group and
The methanol-ready 9,500 CEU PCTC MV “Anji Ansheng”, built by China Merchant Jinling Shipyard.

Notably, the core Ro-Ro access systems for both vessels were exclusively supplied by CSSC Huahai, showcasing China’s rising progress in advanced marine equipment supply.

Invested by Guangzhou Shipping Car Carriers Co., Ltd., MV „Yuanhaikou“ measures 199.9 meters in length and 38.0 meters in moulded breadth, featuring 12 layers vehicle decks (8 fixed and 4 movable layers) with a capacity of 7,000 CEU. It is the first PCTC to meet the Technical Guidelines for Safe Ro-Ro Transportation of New Energy Vehicles issued by the China Classification Society (CCS), and the first large-scale PCTC in China to obtain CCS’s NEV Carriage (B, H, N) certification. CSSC Huahai delivered its full range of Ro-Ro access systems, including quarter ramps, side ramps, movable ramps, ramp covers, hoistable car decks, ramp doors, and movable decks, ensuring operational efficiency and safety for new energy vehicle transportation.
