CSSC Huahai secured a Ro-Ro equipment order from Hoegh Autoliners
Recently, CSSC Huahai has achieved another milestone in international operations by successfully securing an order for the supply of Ro-Ro equipment for 2450 CEU PCTC from China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Shipyard.
The shipowner of this project is Hoegh Autoliners from Norway – one of the world’s largest Ro-Ro shipowners. This marks the recognition of “HUAHAI” brand by another prestigious European Ro-Ro shipowner following Grimaldi from Italy, indicating that an increasing number of shipowners, especially traditional PCTC shipowners in Europe, are gradually placing their trust and support in “HUAHAI”.
As a leading global transportation service provider of Ro-Ro ships, Hoegh has extremely high requirements for Ro-Ro equipment. We, CSSC Huahai, take active actions, spare no effort to satisfy customer requirements, and have developed a series of brand-new technical solutions. The stern ramp adopts closed hydraulic winches, making them more efficient to start and stop. Besides, a hydraulic support device is installed for stepless angle adjustment, which can be dynamically adjusted according to tidal changes, thus to ensure smooth passage of vehicles during loading. Considering the usage habits of the shipowner, all internal ramps adopt drive devices without wire ropes to ensure vehicle safety and maximize the passage.
The design cycle of this project is extremely tight. However, CSSC Huahai team will live up to the customer’s trust, rely on previous rich design and supply experience in Ro-Ro equipment, and carry out meticulous design, fine production, and lean management. We CSSC Huahai will closely cooperate with the shipyard China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) and the design company Deltamarine, and go all out to ensure timely delivery of the equipment with quality.
